Thoughts on the book

Personally the book was an insightful and thought provoking read.I could feel the characters being worn out in a world where they couldn't be themselves and questioned the importance of words, surveillance and even how architecture styles influenced the way we think. It was also alarming to think the dystopia George Orwell wrote is a present reality in some countries. It must take a lot of fortitude to survive in a place where you cannot be who you truly are.

Working with the group

Everyone was really adept and followed through our plan which we agreed on week 1.There were little to no problems,I just had to double check on the progress sheets and when they were not filled out,the members completed it promptly. As for me,it was difficult to read a book online but that's just a personal preference.

Difficulties

It was a challenging to really understand what the task asked from me but after asking my peers and the teacher it was cleared up.Also I fell ill during week 5 and most of week 6 which made it hard for me to write my first draft and peer assess but thankfully I got better and completed it before the deadline. In addition to that,I peer assessed Naomika's draft in her google docs instead of the allotted sheet given to us because I got confused.Apologies for the confusion
