Ninoscha's Individual Report

As a group, it did not take us too much time to decide on a book. We worked in harmony and grace because everything was pre-planned by one another, such as the amount of pages we must read every week. However, the only issue that we faced as a group was updating the progress sheet. Few of the students would merely update the sheet due to circumstances but that did not hinder us to strive to produce quality work.

The reason why we chose "1984" was because of its captivating background, wherein it was banned from a few countries. A personal favourite from the book are the countless implicit meanings implemented through the setting because of how minimal the characters were given the chance to speak, such as the irony in being imprisoned in a cell with no windows in the "Ministry of Love". It was great to see that the author found alternatives to truly convey the sorrows of the characters in the novel.
