The book is really good, I am really happy that our group chose 1984. The book is very lengthy but we got enough time to read it and start planning our writing task. So far we have had no troubles as a group and everyone has been collaborating.
Personally for me, the book is perfect, I’ve studied topics similar to this in history. The book really reflects on how the world is today or even predicts what could potentially happen in just a couple years from now. The topic I chose was food and health care and there are so many events from the book that I can relate to this particular topic.
At first I was a bit confused on how I could write my article but now I have a proper understanding of it. The book has some very dark details in it and that's another reason why I find it very riveting. The writer has portrayed very dark elements in the book such as; hangings, children being brainwashed, propaganda etc., these elements enhance the book and make it so addictive.
